Third jab ‘to eradicate Covid’

LONDON - A third vaccine is to be offered to everyone over 50 in the autumn, according to The Times.

Under trials supervised by Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer for England, vaccines specifically modified to tackle new variants are being devised.

The government has been told that early results from the trials have raised hopes that they will be able to eliminate the threat from Covid-19 by Christmas.
